John A. Lewis, accomplished pianist and composer, studied music at Mountain View Junior College and Southern Methodist University.  He is a former student of noted jazz educator, Dr. Thom Mason and local composer Claude Johnson, Jr.  John is the leader of the John A. Lewis Trio and Quartet and serves music director and composer in residence at the Dedra Lynn Wood Community Theatre.
